A rare1981 Tokai LS-70 from the ??lawsuit era??. This guitar is in fantastic shape and comes with the original case and case candy - from Japan in 1981. It plays well and nothing has been changed other than the pickups (originals are in the case). The pickups in the guitar currently are a Lollar P-90 bridge and Lollar 50??s wind P-90 in the neck position. Great sounding bass guitar. The bass is very much an active growling sound! It sounds like my favorite Modulus basses and just has a rich character that can??t be reproduced on something like an active Ibanez or some other bass with bartolinis. This Silvertone Cowboy 3 / 4 size Guitar was made from the fall of 1958 to Christmas of 1959 and was sold by Sears. Many a Guitar player learned on Silvertone guitars!
