Killer bass. Works perfectly, but plenty of cosmetic wear. Neck is straight, truss turns, low action, no dead spots, fretboard is excellent, electronics are clean, new 9V, flatwound strings are in good shape. There's a ton of natural relic in the nitro. Even in the spots that aren't flaking there's checking and wear. There's a tiny gap in the body near the control plate where the sections of wood were joined. The active EMGs are aftermarket. Looks like there's a very small amount of routing in the control cavity to allow for the 9V. Pickguard and pickguard screws are aftermarket. This Epiphone FT-145 Texan sounds as wonderful as it looks. It has a few dings, but is in excellent condition for its age. Made by the legendary Matsumoku factory in Japan, it was built in 1973.

Weymann 1920's?. RARE 8 String Mandolin w / F Holes. This is the first time this instrument has been to market is decades. Please see pictures as the piece needs a good pair of hands. The neck is loose, dusty as all get out, we have not tried to clean it. Binder all seems tight, bottom round end shows slight separation. Tiny crack of F hole. Never wet or moist-dry storage

This unusual accessory from the Iucci Banjo Company received a patent # 1223881 on July 17, 1917. By means of the threaded wheel the device snugs itself between the dowel stick and the head of the banjo effectively reducing the size of the head to 9" ( which is of course the diameter of the outer ring ). Today I have a set of 1957 Gibson LGO top braces. LGOs were Gibson guitar companies' student model guitars, and were ladder braced. Back in the day it was common to rebrace them with X bracing . Up for bids is this Epiphone ET-276 made at the Matsumoku plant in Japan between 1975-1978.
