Here for sale is an Epiphone 1951 FT-79 Texan Acoustic Guitar with a hardcase and a Bartolini 3AV soundhole pickup and a Nixon Now reproduction sticker which has not be stuck to the guitar just temporarily attached for the photos like Kurt Cobain's original. This vintage Epiphone was made in New York USA. Exzellent erhaltene, 100 Prozent originale, unverbastelte Gibson ES-345TDSV (Thinline, Double Cut, Stereo, Varitone), Stereo und Varitone-Schaltung funktionieren einwandfrei. Wunderschönes Tea Burst mit Wölkchen-Ahorn-Decke und Rücken, auf den Fotos nur schwer zu erkennen. Schlanker Hals, die Bünde sind flach, aber noch sehr gut spielbar. Die Gold Hardware ist stellenweise angelaufen, normal für eine 56 Jahre alte Gitarre. Ansonsten nur minimale Spielspuren, keine Cracks oder Risse im Lack.... more

Unfassbar geiles Gerät, wunderschön, elegant, vor allem der Bridge Tonabnehmer klingt phänomenal und erregt selbst Eunuchen. Ich bin jedoch eine Pfeiffe an der Gitarre weshalb das quasi Perlen vor die Säue ist, wie mit Kanonen auf Spatzen geschossen

Die korrekte Datierung von echten Vintage-Teilen (egal welcher Marke) ist immer ein Problem und macht sich natürlich auch im Preis bemerkbar. Es muss alles stimmen. Die Serien-Nummern stiften häufig noch ein zusätzliches Durcheinander. So bot jemand seine Gibson als 67er an mit Nr 00 . ! (Gibson fing aber erst 1970 wieder mit 000 001 an)

Vor mehr als 15 Jahren habe ich diesen Bass vom Erstbesitzer gekauft. Der Bass wurde viel gespielt (siehe Bild von der linken Halsseite!) und funktioniert auch heute noch wunderbar, die Bünde sind noch lange nicht abgespielt. Lediglich die Hülse für die E Saite auf der Rückseite wurde erneuert (siehe Bild), ansonsten ist das Instrument in absolutem Originalzustand (3, 5 KG!).
