Gibson Victory Candy Apple Red Classic Bass Guitar USA 1981
When I bought this some years ago, it was advertised as being manufactured in 1981 and with a special paintjob. The special paint job is a refinish, and I'm pretty sure they painted the back of the neck as I've never seen another like it. Looks quite nice but has some chips and knocks but overall, it's a very cool 43 year old bass. A great looking lot
A lovely guitar to play, and has a nice matt style finish that reminds me of Seagull guitars
Not sure when it dates from, but looks pretty vintage. I wonder how much a new guitar made in Finland would cost nowadays!
The nut is split (I put in a little bit of plastic so I could play it), so the nut needs replacing, and as such it's sold as a project guitar
Some wear / tarnish in places as pictured. Comes with an old carry bag / case as pictured
