What a lovely guitar. This is a late 50s, Hofner Committee Deluxe, serial number 101, which makes it the second one released. 100 was probably the first, but that hasn't come to light yet
Very clean with minimal wear. Non-original bridge, scratchplate and hard shell case
Thick, chunky neck, as these early ones had no truss rod. Plays well with a reasonably low action. It's not super low as there is some buzz higher up the neck if set too low. Tricky to solve completely without a trussrod... more

Exceptionally rare Vox 2x12, 2x10 cab from 1966
This was the second in the line after the 7120 cab used by the Bestles
The Stones used 760s during their 1966 tour
Cab was in a bit of a state when I got it. Structurally sound but very tatty. A hole had been cut in the baffle between the upper 10" speakers. Looked like it had been done with a butter knife
All repaired now with proper plywood routed in.

You're unlikely to ever find another vintage cab in this condition again
Please study the photos carefully because as far as I can ascertain this has its original tolex and grill cloth, both of which are in exceptional condition. The back panel was very tight and quite difficult to remove - it's possible it was the first time it ever had been taken off

Here we have a real rarity. This cabinet is taken from a mid 1960's Selmer Twin Lead 30. The Twin Lead 30 was an unusual type of combo amplifier whereby the amp itself was in a metal case mounted on top of the speaker cabinet. Superb tube amp, handwired in Toronto, dating from June 1975; similar to a Fender Twin but the great thing about Traynors is that they also have a Marshall plexi / Vox AC30 vibe too. This has tremolo and spring reverb, overdrives when cranked and takes pedals really well. It's loud and heavy but comes with a flightcase. Rather roadworn but works perfectly. Recently serviced. I had this set up and a repair on the neck about 4 months ago. (See picture) Repair was done at Clevedon Music Shop in Bristol by the guitar technician. Resin and sanding applied.
Plays very well but realise I probably want a solid body electric. It's a really great jazz guitar but I am not a great jazz guitarist :)

Very nice Japanese made vintage electric guitar, Matsumoku factory, 1984 sorta time. Been competently stained and refinished at some point a fairly long time ago, and worn in subsequently. acoustically its Very loud and jangly due to its big body and plugged in you can get some nice warm tones too

Vintage Satellite bass with lots of charm and has been played so show signs of use as pictured. The action is quite high even with the truss rod adjustment tight so it will probably need a neck reset which will try and get done but otherwise price reduced to reflect that currently.
