Good condition Gibson Les Paul Custom from 1969. What strikes me first about this guitar is the weight, it's incredibly light! An absolute pleasure to play, with a slim 60s style neck. There has been a neck repair at some point, but it's almost impossible to spot. The guitar itself has had a recent pro level refinish. This is a beautiful guitar to play, the neck is straight with a lovely, low action. All original, in original case. Bridge and neck joints are solid. Two owners from new. There are a couple of patches where the pick guard material has degraded over time and corroded as shown in the pics. More pics available if requested. There is honest wear on the face of the guitar and the finish on the back of the neck has come away a bit. JV Strat made in August 1982. Bad relic job. Red Bobbin pickups which sound incredible. The bridge pickup is not connected but is included in the case. Bridge pickup has become microphonic, so I replaced it with one from a 2010 American Standard Stratocaster. Original frets. Little bit of life left in them. Spectacular all original late 70's Strat in darn near mint condition. Just take a look at the photos, this one has seen very little use. The frets are virtually unused, and the finish shows only a handful of blemishes. All the electrics (pots, pickups, wiring, switch) are original and clean and the hardware all shines like new. Quirky old 1972 Guyatone with a booster switch and two p90s. They run on the hotter side especially with the booster - love using the neck for jazz and there is heaps of depth and personality in the tone but it was actually intended as a rockabilly guitar. If you put roundwounds on it, it sounds great playing twangier, snarly material.

On offer is a vintage early 1970's Japan-import Epiphone Dreadnaught Acoustic FT-145 Texan guitar project. The Serial # is a six digit sequence and is '440586'. The exact dating of Japanese Epiphones is somewhat uncertain but this guitar has the early Blue label inside the soundhole as described in the following extract, with 'Made in Japan' printed on the label, indicating the guitar was made between 1972 and 1975
