This is about as nice of a 100% original 1952 ES-295 as you can find. The gold finish on these doesn't age well. Making this one, well above average.
The guitar has no breaks or cracks and needs nothing. The original frets have plenty of life left, the truss rod works as it should, and the guitar plays extremely well all the way up the neck. Even the original case is in great shape.
There really isn't much else to say, this is just a great playing guitar in great condition. 0 ...

This is a 1958 5F8 Tweed Twin chassis. Serial #A00053
Obviously, its pretty rough, but it works, and it screams.
When I got it (chassis only), it had been neglected for years and was a mess. It needed a full cap job, new 3 prong cable, fuse holder, a few of the pots replaced, 1 input jack, the rectifier socket, and little bit of wiring cleanup work.
After all that, and installing a full new set of Tung Sol tubes, she fired right up. The transformers and all the Astrons and components...

A friend of mine asked me to list this vintage bass in my online shops to give it maximum exposure. Here is the history of this vintage instrument It was purchased in 1975 from Gattuso Music in Canton, Ohio. They had a recording studio as part of the business and the bass was used as the in-house bass for most of their clients. My friend used it as his main bass until the late 1980's. At that time he decided it was too valuable to for everyday use, so he retired it and it has been in the ...

This is a 1960 (I think) Les Paul Junior. The guitar is 100% original in every way, although it does have a few miles on it. The guitar has its original electronics, and all parts are original. It has had no breaks, cracks or previous repairs. It has had a recent fret dress and is ready to go. Frets are at 80%. She weighs 7 1 lbs
The only issue is At some point, it looks like some sort of paint stripper dripped on the headstock and ate through the finish in those spots. Unfortunately, it ...

This is a 1954 Fender 5D3 Deluxe Guitar Amp Tube Chart is dated DJ (1954, July) .Original Jensen P12R is dated 220420 (20th week of 1954). Serial #3129
When I got this, it was an absolute mess but it had potential!
The first thing I noticed was that the original tweed had been painted gold a very long time ago. The gold didn't age well either. It just makes the amp look dirty and dingy. My first instinct was to clean it, or at least give some thought to the idea of what to do with it. I ...

This guitar has been in my possession for over 25 years. I'm an acoustic player and this guitar has stayed in the case most-of-the-time. Items worth note: VERY little fret wear on "jumbo" frets (quite wide by acoustic standards). Original case, original tremolo bar, original condition. I removed the neck to verify the date, etc. If you're reading this -- I trust you've done your homework and know all of the markings / signings match what is to be expected from this 40+ year-old guitar. ...

The transformers and important parts are original to the amp. The amp functions perfectly in every way and sounds incredible. Although, I may be biased, as the Weber 12F150 is my favorite speaker in a Fender.

Vintage 1959 Harmony H-63 Espanada body / neck. This is a true Espanada. She looks pretty good for being 65 years old. Neck joint is a bit loose so will have to have a neck reset. Joint area is very clean so it will probably lend itself to a relatively smooth reset. Fretboard extension "ski-jumps" upward because the loose neck joint allows the neck to tilt forward. When that happens, the body pushes the fretboard extension upward (quite common). The "ski-jump" can be fixed during the ...

Also note the output jack was in the pickguard as opposed to the later versions that had a Stratocaster type body jack. Has one very fixable issue. The tremolo post hole on the bass side has elongated slightly. It's probably best to dowel the existing hole and re-drill it. Body has it's share of use ...
